Everyone has had that experience – years after you thought you knew everything there is to know about your “other half”. Then, right there in public, something comes up and you say “Wow, I never knew that!”
The NearlyWed Game is intended to – lightheartedly – take a look at those things we often don’t know about one other.(That way – if they ever bring The Newlywed Game back to TV, you’ll have better odds than the other couples on the show!)

The rules are simple – toss the game box in your car or purse. Then, sometime when you’re simply driving around town, or you’re at dinner, or maybe you’re waiting in line for your Marriage License – take them out and see how well you know each other. Some of the cards are blank so you can create your own questions. Then, visit the link above (more game questions) and submit yours. You can also see what questions other couples have come up with, and ask those of one another as well.

How did we think of this fabulous game?
That was simple. After seven years of marriage, my wife and I still have these “revelation moments” of “Wow – I didn’t know that”.Being a guy, I wanted to save the other guys out there that bit of discomfort between “Hmm – did I not know that, or did I forget that – and is this something important that I should have remembered?!” It’s easy enough to play anytime with no setup and you can stop as soon as the clerk calls your name. Through use of the website, you can always read new and (hopefully) interesting questions.

And, when you’re done with it (this is one of my favorite parts) – you can pass it on to another couple that’s planning their wedding. Or – buy them as a cute little shower gift.

Finally – my hope is that you see just how creative we can be. Not cheesy, just fun. Maybe you’ll give us a call to discuss the entertainment for your reception, and how we can make that unique, fun, and memorable as well.
